1.5 oz Apple infused Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey
2 oz Organic unfiltered apple cider
.5 oz Lemon Juice
6 drops Bittered Sling Zingiber Crabapple bitters (can be omitted or substituted for a different bitters)
Shake ingredients together with ice, pour into tall glass over ice and top with ginger beer.
Garnish with bourbon soaked apple chip
For the apple/bourbon infusion: slice apples thinly and combine with bourbon in a glass jar or sealable container for 3-5 days or up to a week, agitating daily. Leave in a cool dark place. Strain when ready and pour the bourbon back into it’s original bottle. Store in the fridge. Keep the apples and dehydrate them in the oven or dehydrator-they’ll be the best apple chips you’ve ever had!
